David Simons founded his private therapy practice as a way to form closer connections with anyone in need of mental health care. With nearly 20 years of professional experience, he pairs an empathic approach and a lively collaborative style, with real world evidence based problem solving.
Personal
David Simons is originally from the mid-west – he has been married for 45 years… with two adult daughters and two hugely curious and funny grandchilden. He graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Communications. Honored with an invitation from the Royal Academy in London he furthered his studies with John Clifford Williams – “Mastering Performance Communication.” David has been in private practice treating clients in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas for 20 years.
For the next 20 years Simons successfully wrote and produced socially relevant network and cable programming. Launching his second career in 2000 – he attended Phillips Graduate Institute – earning his Masters in Clinical Psychology.
